We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure all cake bookings.

Deposits can be transferred from one cake to another, but not from a large cake to a smaller celebration cake for example.

Though our deposits are transferable, the new order cannot be less than 80% of the original cake order. If, for instance, the cost of a large celebration was £600 the new order will need to be £480 or more as we are unable to reduce the total order cost by more than 20% of the original order.  This is due to order demand and we only take one large special occasion cake in a week. 

We use a number of different mediums on our cakes. This includes sugar paste  flowers, modelling chocolate, rice crispy treats, rice paper flowers and sails, and fresh flowers. These are purely for decorative purposes despite the medium used. Kindly remove all decorations and treat them as non-edible whether they are made from edible materials or not.  

Most venue’s do supply a table for your cake along with a table cloth and suitable knife for the occasion.  It is your responsibility to check with the venue that these items will be made available to you on the day.

Our cake orders do not include decorative knives or cake stands; however these items can be hired on request.

All hired items must be returned within the time period agreed or a delay fee will need to be charged. The return address for hired items is Unit 1 Blackberry Close, Tadley Acres, Shepton Mallet BA4 4EJ

We cannot make changes to wedding cake orders within 14 days of delivering the order.

Delivery:

No charge for cakes delivered within 10 miles of the studio. Costs thereafter are calculated per mile. Special delivery time slots can be requested but please note that requests must be marked up on your final order form and delivery paid for prior to the day of delivery.

Delivery of, and collection of cakes is between 8.00am and 4.00pm.

Order balances need to be cleared as follows:

Wedding cake – 14 days before wedding date

Celebration cakes – 48 hours before delivery or collection

Cakes can be collected at an agreed time (Unit 1, Blackberry Close, Tadley Acres, Shepton Mallet BA44 EJ)

Wedding cakes that consist of more than 1 tier must be delivered and set up by ourselves.

Replicating Cakes

You are more than welcome to suggest a cake idea to us based on something you have seen, however we aim to give you something bespoke.  Our goal when replicating cakes is to give you the closest match but please bear in mind that things like moulds and cutters can be different and so are decorating styles.  Please work with us to achieve a style that reflects your occasion. 

Cakes with specific themes such as Disney are covered by copy right laws and much as I love making them I only do so for family and friends and any such images you see on my site have not been charged for.
