I am so very grateful to all my wonderful clients for their notes and messages of gratitude, I thought it would be lovely to share some of the thank you’s I have had over the years and the story behind many of the cakes.
There are not enough positive adjectives to express our delight & appreciation for depiciting our life long hobby in cake form. Best description – Yum! & what ‘takes the cake’ is that every beauty is as YUMMY as it is a masterpiece!! Helen’s cakes (and we have had a few) are always better than can be imagined.

I have never seen a cake like this. So much love and care has gone into it. I couldn’s stop staring at it, and could hardly bear to cut into it, but eventually because I knew it would be so delicious we cut into it and were not dissapointed. You have captured my love of Egypt and hot air balloons perfectly. Thank you Helen for my amazing Egyptian Cake with the hot air balloon drifting over the Nile. You are incredible!

Helen first made me and my daughter the most amazing chocolate detective cake for our murder mystery party. The cake was embellished with chocolate decorations from the bottom to the top tier, where there was cleverly placed a chocolate door, complete with a backlight to a chocolate detective who was about to go through the door. A few years later we then supplied some of our daugher’s art work for another birthday cake and Helen combined her art with our daughter’s talent for sign singing and love of playing board games.

How is this cake? - thank you, you made the most amazing birthday cake for my husband and it just made his 40th birthday celebration. I could not have asked for a better cake! It was out of this world. The tiny details you managed to capture and sculpt into the cake were incredible and we could not have been happier with the outcome. The cake was really the centre piece of the party and with good reason, as well as being delicious. Thank you once again.

What would you expect in a cake for your 50th wedding anniversay. Big numerals, some hearts maybe and some pretty flowers? This was the most surprising cake EVER. 3 tiers depicting scenes throughout our 50 years together, all taken and interpreted from photographs the family supplied. Every member of the family as detailed little figures and representations the things they do and love in life. So special and so memorable

Your cake was pure artistry, magic and creativity!!! We just loved it, thank you!! Our only problem was cutting into this masterpiece. It was a heart-breaking affair as it was perfect in every way! When I called you with what I thought was a difficult request, you just completly got it. Your year 3000 cake became the centre piece of the party.
